ASBESTOS CANCER.

This is a disease obviously brought about by prolonged exposure to the very fine fibres contained in asbestos, a substance no longer used in the UK. The cancer is known as Mesothelioma.

Largely, it is an industrial disease that, at one time, was not protected against and men worked long hours breathing in the particles.
